This composition was formed by combining the
elements of two separate drawings, one of strange
bees, and one of a hand emerging from a city of
boxes. "The Hobbyist" is a paradox about
containment; the collector is permanently attached
to its environment, while the beings it seeks to
collect are able to fly freely.
